WHAT IS CUPRIGEL?
Cuprigel is a topical serum that contains MCC (monocopper citrate), a proprietary copper complex that delivers copper ions in a controlled release manner to copper dependant enzymes and physiological processes within the body.
Technically, Cuprigel’s proprietary copper complexes can traverse skin and animal cell membranes intact and effectively deliver and release copper ions in a controlled manner upon demand at the targeted inflammatory or arthritic areas containing endogenous reacting moieties which demand the copper ions.
The active copper complex contained in Cuprigel is MCC, which has an aqueous proton induced dissociation property represented by a sigmoidally-shaped curve on a cartesian coordinate plot of the negative log of the copper ion concentration versus the negative log of hydrogen ion concentration. This dissociation property enables the copper complexes to release copper ions in a controlled manner upon demand at the targeted inflammatory or arthritic areas containing endogenous reacting moieties which demand the copper ions.
In short, The controlled release mechanism is a function of pH levels within the body. MCC is unique in its ability to make copper ions available at physiological pH ranges (7.0-7.5) within the body.
